Mahogany, goncalo alves 25 3/4″h x 14 1/4″w x 7″d
This is one of my first cabinets, made over 20 years ago when genuine Honduras mahogany was still around and when I was still using “exotic” woods such as the goncalo alves panel. For ethical reasons, I don’t use those woods anymore unless I still have bits hanging around, as I do, which I’ll use for knobs and accents. The mahogany has aged to a marvelous mellowed color, as it will do over time.
